An ambitious and well-resourced primary school in Harborne is looking to appoint an experienced and confident Year 6 Teacher to lead a class through the crucial final year of primary education.

The role begins October half term 2025 and is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons that support preparation for end-of-year SATs
• Plan engaging and challenging activities aligned with the KS2 curriculum
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Foster a calm, focused and purposeful classroom culture
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents

Requirements:

• QTS and experience in teaching Year 6
• A solid understanding of assessment and progress tracking
• Ability to motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities
• A calm and consistent approach to classroom management
