An inclusive and ambitious secondary school in Central Worcester is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of English to join their strong humanities faculty from April 2026. This is a permanent role and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, mark and assess pupils’ work in line with departmental policy
• Support students with varying abilities and needs
• Contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives
• Participate in parents' evenings and CPD opportunities

Requirements:

• QTS and a degree in English or related subject
• Excellent subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach
• Experience or willingness to teach GCSE English Language and Literature
• A team-oriented and reflective attitude
