Paragon Education is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Pershore. The school is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where pupils with additional needs are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

You will work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to education.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Assisting with adapted learning activities and classroom support
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and social development
• Supporting pupils with communication and emotional regulation
• Implementing EHCP targets and individual support strategies
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

What you’ll need:

• Experience working with children with SEND in a school or similar setting
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
• A proactive and reliable attitude
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
