An inclusive primary school in Erdington is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their SEND provision.

The successful candidate will help create a calm, engaging, and supportive learning environment for pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assist with communication and sensory-based activities
• Encourage pupil participation and confidence
• Support behaviour regulation and structured routines
• Work closely with teaching staff and SEND professionals

Requirements

• SEND support experience preferred
• Understanding of autism and communication needs advantageous
• Calm and supportive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for inclusive education
