Paragon Education is partnering with a highly supportive and specialist SEN school in Yoxall to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher. The school provides a nurturing, structured, and well-resourced environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

You will work within a skilled and welcoming team that places pupil wellbeing, personalised learning, and positive relationships at the heart of everything they do.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, creative lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
- Creating a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff
- Using EHCP targets to plan personalised learning pathways
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
- Building strong relationships with parents and external professionals
- Keeping accurate records and contributing to review meetings
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN (school or specialist setting)
- Strong behaviour management and a compassionate approach
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
