Paragon Education is recruiting a committed and empathetic SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Worcester. The school is dedicated to providing high-quality education for pupils with additional needs, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.
You will be responsible for delivering personalised learning to a small group of pupils with a range of special educational needs. Working alongside experienced support staff, you’ll play a key role in creating a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
What the role involves:
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Adapting teaching strategies to support a range of SEN requirements
- Working closely with teaching assistants to deliver targeted support
- Implementing and reviewing EHCP targets and individual plans
- Creating a calm and supportive classroom environment
- Monitoring progress and providing detailed feedback on pupil development
What you’ll need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient attitude
- Effective behaviour management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
