Paragon Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in Perry Barr from September 2026. This full-time, long-term supply role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils with additional needs achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
• Deliver learning in line with EHCP outcomes and monitor pupil progress.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, therapists, and parents.
• Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
