Paragon Education is recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming specialist setting in Castle Bromwich from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term supply opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, personalised learning to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, working closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to provide the highest standard of education and care.

The Role

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
• Develop and implement strategies to support EHCP targets and maximise pupil progress.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, therapists, and other professionals.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet changing needs.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND in either a mainstream or specialist setting.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• A patient, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
