Paragon Education is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting in Patchway. This role involves working closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

This would suit individuals with backgrounds in education, youth work, care or mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Assist with behaviour regulation and classroom engagement
• Implement structured behaviour strategies
• Support teachers with differentiated learning activities
• Promote positive learning attitudes and routines

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Calm and resilient personality
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work consistently within structured routines
