Paragon Education is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting in Norwich. This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require emotional and behavioural support.

This position would suit someone with experience in education, youth work, care, or alternative provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support
• Support behaviour regulation and structured routines
• Implement behaviour plans and de-escalation strategies
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
• Promote engagement and positive learning behaviours

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Calm, resilient, and patient personality
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to remain consistent and professional in challenging situations
