A highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced and resilient Primary Teacher to support pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist Lancashire setting.

Paragon Education is working in partnership with a specialist primary provision in Lancashire to recruit a dedicated SEMH Teacher. The setting supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, many of whom require structured routines, consistent boundaries and a nurturing approach to re-engage positively with education.

This role would suit a teacher who is confident in managing behaviour, committed to inclusive practice and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering differentiated primary lessons tailored to individual needs
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs through structured and consistent classroom practice
• Implementing behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
• Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCO and external professionals
• Monitoring progress in line with EHCP targets
• Creating a safe, stable and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary setting
• Experience working with SEMH needs (mainstream or specialist)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Resilient, patient and adaptable approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
