What the role involves:

• Planning and delivering engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Supporting students in developing performance, composition, and listening skills
• Preparing pupils for GCSE Music where applicable
• Encouraging participation in classroom and extracurricular music activities
• Organising or supporting school performances and events
• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment

What you’ll need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching music in a UK secondary school
• Strong knowledge of both practical and theoretical music
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
• Good classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
