What the role involves:

• Planning and delivering engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encouraging students to analyse, evaluate, and think critically about historical events
• Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
• Differentiating lessons to support a range of abilities
• Monitoring progress and providing meaningful feedback
• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

What you’ll need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across key historical topics
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Effective classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
