What the role involves:

• Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encouraging creativity through a range of artistic techniques and media
• Supporting students in developing their skills in drawing, painting, and design
• Preparing pupils for coursework and GCSE Art where applicable
• Organising classroom displays and contributing to school exhibitions
• Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and structured way

What you’ll need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school
• Strong knowledge of different artistic techniques and materials
• Ability to inspire creativity and engagement in students
• Good classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
