What the role involves:
- Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Encouraging creativity through a range of artistic techniques and media
- Supporting students in developing their skills in drawing, painting, and design
- Preparing pupils for coursework and GCSE Art where applicable
- Organising classroom displays and contributing to school exhibitions
- Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and structured way
What you’ll need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school
- Strong knowledge of different artistic techniques and materials
- Ability to inspire creativity and engagement in students
- Good classroom management and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
