We work closely with schools and local authorities across Worcestershire and the West Midlands to provide 1:1 and small-group tuition for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We are currently seeking experienced SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver tailored learning in English, Maths, and Science, helping pupils re-engage with education and reach their potential.

Role requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience, ideally within SEND or SEMH settings
  • Experience delivering Maths, English, or Science to pupils from KS1–KS5
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent experience
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through us)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and maintaining a safe learning environment
  • Right to work in the UK

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, trauma-informed tuition sessions in Maths, English, or Science
  • Plan engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Provide regular feedback and progress updates to parents, schools, and local authorities
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and self-confidence
  • Maintain professional standards in safeguarding, planning, and communication
