PPA Cover Teacher – Erdington, Birmingham

Start Date: October Half Term 2025
Contract Type: Part-Time (3 Days), Long-Term
Salary: MPS (Pro Rata)

A two-form entry school in Erdington is seeking a flexible and reliable PPA Cover Teacher to work across the school on a part-time basis from October half term.

This is a long-term role for 3 days per week, delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 following existing planning provided by class teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality cover lessons across all primary phases
• Follow planning and learning objectives from class teachers
• Maintain consistency in classroom routines and expectations
• Support children’s academic and pastoral needs
• Be an adaptable and proactive member of the staff team

Requirements:

• QTS and experience teaching across a range of year groups
• Ability to build rapport quickly and manage classroom behaviour
• Strong organisation and classroom presence
• A flexible, team-player mindset
