About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a high school in Bromsgrove. This rewarding position is due to start as soon as possible and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students, assisting with learning activities and tasks as directed.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Support students with behavior management and social skills development, promoting positive relationships and interactions.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, either as a teaching assistant, learning support assistant, or similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs and demands of the school environment.
• A commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds.
