About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a school located in the B14 area of Yardley. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students' learning and development in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, assisting with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities and interventions, ensuring the needs of all students are met.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies as required.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials, resources, and displays, creating a stimulating learning environment conducive to student engagement and achievement.
• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities, promoting positive behavior and fostering a safe and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting, preferably with primary school-aged children.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices, with the ability to provide effective support across a range of subjects and learning areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
