Paragon Education is recruiting an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across a range of schools in Worcestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility within the classroom while supporting high-quality teaching and learning.

You will be working closely with teachers and leadership teams, delivering lessons, supporting pupil progress, and helping to maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.

What the role involves:

• Leading whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
• Supporting lesson delivery across different subjects and year groups
• Working with small groups to provide targeted intervention support
• Assisting with planning and preparation of learning activities
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
• Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment

What you’ll need:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within a school setting
• Confidence in leading a class and delivering lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt across different subjects and age groups
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
