Paragon Education is recruiting a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Worcester. The school is committed to maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, ensuring students remain engaged and focused during teacher absences.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain classroom experience, pursue a career in teaching, or work within a fast-paced secondary school environment. You will play a key role in supporting continuity of learning across the school.

What the role involves:

• Supervising classes using pre-set lesson plans and materials
• Ensuring students remain on task and complete assigned work
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Providing guidance and support to pupils where required
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour
• Supporting the wider school team throughout the school day

What you’ll need:

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour and maintaining structure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Good organisational skills and reliability
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
