Paragon Education is recruiting a dedicated and patient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a welcoming and inclusive school in Malvern. The school is committed to ensuring every child receives the individual support they need to succeed both academically and emotionally.

You will be working closely with one pupil, providing consistent support tailored to their specific needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference in a child’s day-to-day school experience.

What the role involves:

• Providing one-to-one support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs
• Assisting with learning activities and adapting tasks where required
• Supporting the pupil’s communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
• Implementing strategies from EHCPs and support plans
• Building a strong, positive relationship to support engagement and trust
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

What you’ll need:

• Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
• A calm, patient, and consistent approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
• A proactive and reliable attitude
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
